TLD Design Consulting provides specialist business planning, operations and design services for senior care projects in China. Its Beijing-based studio has completed projects from 90 to 1,500 beds in south, central and northern China. TLD has a partnership with DWA, the UK’s leading specialist senior care architect, and because DWA are a partner of Care Visions Healthy Ageing, we're able to generate holistic design solutions that cover architecture, interiors and landscape from the experts in design for memory care. Working together, this consortium plans to design, specify and operate the Hangzhou Project, China’s first Integrated Health Hub. This involves wellness, health and aged care facilities, as well as houses and apartments. Hangzhou is the capital of China’s Zhejiang province, with a population of over 10 million. The integrated Health Hub will be built around the vision of providing holistic health and community services that satisfy the needs of each stage of ageing. Within it, family residential homes will sit alongside retirement apartments, while kindergartens will sit alongside buildings for wellness and health.
