DWA Architects (UK & China) is a multi-award-winning firm of architects, known for its passion in care and designing for future needs. This passion goes beyond the immediate notions of care homes and retirement living, looking to incorporate all aspects of well-being, sustainability and lifetime into their homes. DWA was therefore viewed as an ideal partner to work with. Combining our research, evidence and innovation with their architectural design skills to develop concepts for Wellness Apartments, or what we call 'The London Concept'. These are Lifetime Homes where, through building a sense of community rooted in the concepts of wellbeing and good health, residents have peace of mind knowing they won't need to move out should their health start to deteriorate. This approach doesn’t restrict the freedom of its residents from enjoying a happy and supportive environment, while the designs combine spacious open plan living and inspirational design, with innovative solutions to enhance wellness throughout the complex.
